Just received a really wonderful email from Charlie Tuna. Says that he's busier than ever."And I’m still catching up on emails, website updates, daily and weekend radio syndication, TV pilots, trip back home to Nebraska to emcee their annual Broadcasters Awards celebration, as well as my K-Earth 101 Los Angeles broadcasting duties" It's really great to hear. Based on the quality of the audio, I can tell that this was recorded from an AFRTS shortwave broadcast. I know because I used to listen to AFRTS shortwave.
ReplyDeleteI have to downsample these things so the files aren't too big at my host and also we do have folks on dialup. These are REALLY clean from the FM station at AFN. Did the shortwave serve ever run entertainment programs (rather than news/talk)??
