The American Forces Radio and Television service touched a lot of people. Whether talent, support or listeners it touched a lot of us in ways that stateside media could only dream of. It was more than just the radio, it was home. Each of us have a piece of what it meant. Together it tells a story. Thank you for your contributions. Sometimes it's audio, pictures or memorabilia. Hospital Radio redux

If you've been following the story, many troops were first exposed to military "radio" via closed circuit stations in US hospitals. Last week we had probably the most complete telling of that tale we'll ever hear. Thanks Gerry!!
I was looking for this to attach to that story. After the war, the stars toured the VA hospitals. This program would have been heard on the "Bedpan Network".
