Jim Ameche 1965

Easy Listening music from large orchestras was something we don't hear much of anymore.  AFRTS had a long tradition of it going back to the beginnings.  Jim Ameche (Don's brother) was the first to succeed with a nationally syndicated DJ show in the 1950s.  He really began the tradition continued by John Doremus and Pete Smith.  Dinnertime, the end of a long, hard day and time for some easy favorites.
