Bob Morecook reminded me that on this date in 1968 is the anniversary of AFVN Hue being overrun.  You'll not be forgotten:.



Today is a special day to stop and remember AFVN Detachment 5 Hue. On this date in 1968 the unit was over run after a firefight. The story is at the link at the top of the page. Stop for a moment, a minute, or five minutes to remember these fine men - only some of whom came home 5 years later.
