This is the automation from AFVN in the 60s, 15 years
later it was exactly the same in Panama
The American Forces Radio and Television service touched a lot of people. Whether talent, support or listeners it touched a lot of us in ways that stateside media could only dream of. It was more than just the radio, it was home. Each of us have a piece of what it meant. Together it tells a story. Thank you for your contributions. Sometimes it's audio, pictures or memorabilia. This can be a good place to share it. What was your story? If you find this rewarding, please tell a friend.
Worked with Scullys exactly like those in a live assist format at 1320 WFHR Wi Rapids.....they still ran Drake Chenault tapes then. Looks like AFVN was using Alta Fonic as a music supplier.
