Welcome to My Best Sounds

The History of Our Station

In 2017 Roger Carroll wanted internet radio and we did the first generation.  Wonderful man and it was a great learning experience.  After that we made a few changes.  I hope you enjoy and remember.

  6. I was at AFRN Elmendorf for a couple of years in the 70’s. Glad to discover all the great personalities back from the archives. The best radio in the world is back on line. Thanks Thom for sharing a part of our history and great broadcasting heritage with us.

  7. It would be great to sprinkle the jingles and afrts logos in between the music. Especially the shockwave package and the old 60s package is fun too. Pete

    2. Don’t know if my latest comment came through. Thanking you for jungles !!! And idea to invite actualities of servicemen and women who were on afrts. A greeting of sorts and where they served. Pete

  8. Hey Thom. Love the jingles!!! Thanks. If possible old afrts alums could check in with a ten sec greeting and where they served on afrts. Could be mixed under an instrumental jingle bed. I’d be fun to hear from folks we served with. Kind of what you have now with Tom campbel and Jim pewter. I’d stir up listeners for others who heard these shows originally on afrts
