Chis Noel 1967

"Chris Noel was and is a hero ... supporting the troops with dedication and integrity even while we were treated like lepers at 'home.' She continues to support veterans, especially those of us who are homeless or suffer with PTSD. She came under fire in Nam more than once and suffered her own nightmarish events in her life. This is a beautiful person, both inside and out." Mike Blackford

Chris Noel was the voice of home to thousands of Vietnam era troops.  This is the Friday show from her first week on the air over AFRTS.  The program evolved over the years, better and better.

Tom Campbell 1975,

Time for another trip down memory lane with Bay Area fave, Tom Campbell (for Cal Stereo). Here's a neat 1975 show..

When Tom got out of the Air Force, he got a gigs in Shreveport, WDGY Minneapolis (The Twin Cities connection continues) and Dayton. 1967 it was to San Francisco where fame struck. between radio and agency work he bounced around southern California including for us at AFRTS

I finally located Tom Campbell, who sends his best.

Mary Turner 1984

Time for another visit with Ft McCadden's Mary Turner.  Mary really did rock the world.  KMET, AFRTS, Off the Record.  Classy and always done well.

Joe Ferguson 1983

Joe Ferguson has some 1983 fun on AFRTS

Don Tracy 1995

The network kept rocking til the end.  In 1995 the Network we all knew was changing but Don Tracy still had his chops...
