Negro College Choir - 1960

In the 50s and 60s the United Negro College Fund presented a series of choirs from member universities of the fund.  The series was run on the ABC radio network, hosted by Metropolitan Opera host Milton Cross.  AFRTS picked up the series and ran it worldwide.

Today we have the Fisk University Choir from Nashville.

The kids were dancing on the weekend in Tokyo.  From 1960 Dave Robinson and Ray Goodwin hosting a live show fun for the dependents.  Danny and the Red Coasters is our in studio band.

AFN Johnny Paris 1960 interviews Elvis Presley

When Elvis Presley was drafted he had a very low profile and concentrated on soldiering.  In 1960 he was on his way home and was interviewed by AFN's Johnny Paris
