The scary part of listening to a lot of Charlie Tuna shows is the end. It's amazing how many of the affiliate locations don't exist anymore or don't have an AFRTS station (I have the one for SCN as the logoff sound on one of my computers, "before we say goodbye..."). It's always great listening. Thanks again Charlie!

Charlie Tuna? Always great. How did he do it, always a great show and as close to perfect consistency than anyone. There have been a lot of greats over the years but for a Dan Ingram or a Larry Lujack there's changes over the years. Charlie never really changes, he nailed it.. Let's revisit 1973, it's Thursday. Charlie Tuna 1986
Charlie's career was amazing. Oklahoma City to Boston to Los Angeles. He was part of our team from 1971 until 1996. An incredible run. Hard to believe it's been years since we lost him.

Charlie at KHJ
The most consistent personality in radio was Charlie Tuna. He did the same meticulous program in 1970 that he did in 1995. Normally that would be a bad thing, not with Charlie Tuna.
He was heard around the world daily on the Armed Forces Radio Network for a 25 year – 6000 show run from 1971 to 1996, as well as on numerous nationally syndicated radio shows, since the early 70’s. He’s now heard in syndication around the world.
